The Rostro de Cristo (RdC) International Fellowship Program is a compensated position which offers emerging leaders and experienced professionals opportunities to offer their skills in service to vulnerable communities in the Dominican Republic and to work for justice.

Fellows work with local agencies, including ASCALA (Asociación Scalabriniana al Servicio de la Movilidad Humana), a faith-based NGO in Consuelo dedicated to upholding the human rights and dignity of local immigrants. In addition, fellows support RdC’s program development in the local community.
Fellows serve full-time, preferably for a minimum one-year, alongside other RdC fellows and local partners, with opportunities for extension. Roles are tailored to the fellows’ skills and interests to serve the needs of the local community and are developed collaboratively during the first month of the fellowship. A diversity of backgrounds, skills, and experiences are welcome.

Rostro de Cristo (RdC) is an inclusive catholic community grounded in love, faith, and justice which facilitates year-long fellowships for professionals, short-term intercultural programs for students, and pilgrimages for adults. We serve and work in solidarity with the Haitian community in the Dominican Republic who for decades have been marginalized and oppressed.

Bilingual in Spanish and English with intercultural communication skills, Haitian Creole a plus.
