    Description

RIVET is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven consultant to grow and steward our Youth Impact Fund (YIF) - a donor learning collaborative aimed at foundations interested in supporting youth-led social innovation. This role is central to providing critical resources to thousands of young social innovators while also raising vital scaling funds for RIVET; all while ensuring our philanthropic partners experience a world-class, data-driven, youth-centered stewardship journey. Working closely with the CEO and Chief Impact Officer, you will design and lead the full lifecycle of YIF engagement: from building the pipeline of potential funders, to cultivation, to reporting and stewardship. Our goal is to secure 10 partners; we currently have 3 committed and 5 likely.

RIVET is looking to bring on a part-time consultant to do three things:

    1. Identify and cultivate new partners: deepen and broaden RIVET’s network of institutional & family foundation funders by researching prospects, developing tailored cultivation strategies, and crafting engaging outreach narratives.
    2. Shape investment opportunities: translate RIVET’s model, data, and impact into clear, compelling funding opportunities. This means working cross-functionally to design thematic or geographic investment pathways, craft concept notes and proposals, and develop multi-year funding conversations that support the Youth Impact Fund.
    3. Design learning experiences and ensure seamless stewardship: architect a dynamic learning community, including quarterly virtual convenings that surface learnings, insights and trends. Provide a world class stewardship and reporting experience that ensures partners engage not just as funders but as co-learners.

You will join a dedicated, low-ego team in launching a first-of-its-kind philanthropic movement led by youth. Supported by the CEO, this role works across the organization and volunteer leadership.

Time Commitment: This is a part-time opportunity — approximately 10 - 20 hours per week, flexible and variable depending on needs.
