    Description

    About Park City Education Foundation:

For nearly 40 years, Park City Education Foundation (PCEF) has funded and supported educator-powered initiatives that inspire all Park City students to reach their academic and lifelong potential. We achieve this by investing nearly $2 million annually in the Park City School District to support initiatives such as preschool, elementary visual arts, afterschool programs, educator and student wellness, real-world learning, Bright Futures (a program that supports first-generation college students), and classroom and express grants that support educators.

    Position Summary

The Senior Development Manager is a committed, relationship-driven, and detail-oriented advancement professional who plays a key role in planning and executing PCEF’s annual fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, this role supports strategic revenue growth through annual giving campaigns, major community events, donor engagement, and compelling storytelling. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone ready to expand their responsibilities and grow alongside a mission-driven team.

Working closely with the VP of Advancement and partnering with staff, board members, school leaders, volunteers, and families the Senior Development Manager will ensure PCEF’s fundraising strategies are data-informed and produce real results. This Senior Development Manager will lead events such as the Red Apple Gala and Running with Ed, and contribute to grant proposals, stewardship materials, and donor communications. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal communication, meticulous project management, and a commitment to ethical fundraising standards. As part of a small team, this individual should bring initiative, a growth mindset, and a willingness to step into all-hands-on-deck responsibilities while growing into a self-sufficient leader of PCEF’s annual fundraising.

This person needs to possess outstanding organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, without compromising quality. They should also be able to work independently or collaboratively as the situation demands, and bring a high level of emotional intelligence to their daily interactions. Experience communicating across lines of difference and knowledge of DEI principles are fundamental to our culture.

Here is a list of the key areas in which you will provide support to the organization:

    • Lead the planning and execution of annual giving campaigns, fundraising events, and other strategic fundraising initiatives
    • Participate in the development of a strategic and data-informed fundraising plan
    • Prepare compelling grant proposals, stewardship reports, and presentation materials to support donor engagement and organizational funding opportunities
    • Recruit, train, inspire and partner with fundraising and event volunteers and committees to support donor engagement and achieve fundraising goals
    • Partner with staff, board members, school administrators, and volunteers to develop and execute donor strategies
    • Collaborate with the Vice President of Advancement and other leaders to analyze and benchmark leadership giving goals
    • Write content for event material, including invitations, brochures, signage, event scripts, and other related communications
    • Work with the PCEF team and volunteer Communications Committee members to refine annual messaging and annual collateral materials
    • Attend school PTO/A meetings as needed and engage with school leadership and families to support annual communications and fundraising goals.
    • Serve as an ambassador for PCEF’s mission and values, representing the organization with warmth, professionalism, and integrity
    • Work with the VP of Advancement and other leaders to analyze leadership giving goals and establish benchmarks for tracking progress.
    • Support additional initiatives or strategic priorities as assigned by the VP of Advancement
