    About Us

Anthos|Home is an innovative nonprofit transforming the way New York City residents with housing subsidies locate and secure stable housing. Modeled after Brilliant Corners in California, Anthos|Home streamlines the apartment search, approval, and move-in processes while addressing gaps in the NYC voucher housing system. We aim to be a game-changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness.

    The Role

Anthos|Home seeks an experienced Health Strategy Consultant to formalize and manage its health-related program strategy, which aims to serve New Yorkers with high health needs seeking housing while generating sustainable revenue streams through healthcare partnerships and public funding. This position will develop strategic partnerships with hospitals, healthcare systems, managed care organizations, government agencies, and more to provide services that move people into homes (and out of hospitals) faster, including medical respite, expedited housing placements, and housing stability services.

The ideal candidate will leverage deep knowledge of NYC's healthcare landscape and its associated financial systems to position Anthos|Home as a critical partner in addressing the intersection of homelessness and health. This position requires established relationships in the health space in New York City, experience with hospital payment systems, Medicaid, medical respite, and managed care providers, and expertise in city, state, and federal funding opportunities. The Health Strategy Consultant will work closely with the executive leadership to develop and advance the organization’s health strategy, demonstrate the short- and long-term cost-savings of housing, and establish sustainable programs to serve high health need New Yorkers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and manage a comprehensive health strategy to establish financially sustainable health-related programs that leverage the cost-savings that housing provides to finance the cost of service
    • Facilitate outreach and relationship-building with potential healthcare partners, including NYC Health+Hospitals and other major health systems
    • Develop cost-savings analyses that demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of integrated health and housing services for hospitals, managed care providers, and other stakeholders
    • Compose relevant pitch documents, one pagers, and decks to engage potential partners
    • Identify and pursue city, state, and federal funding opportunities
    • Work closely with the CEO, COO, and leadership to advance strategic goals

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years in the healthcare sector, including significant experience managing financial planning, strategy, and analysis
    • Established relationships within the NYC healthcare sector, including at hospitals, health plans, and government agencies
    • Deep knowledge of the healthcare landscape in New York City and State
    • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to develop compelling cost-savings analyses
    • Experience with managed care, Medicaid financing and billing structures, and hospital payment systems
    • Excellent presentation skills and ability to prepare compelling visual materials.

    Additional Skills Include

    • Passion for working with vulnerable populations
    • Familiarity with NYC housing market and voucher system
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite, Salesforce
    • Ability to work in a diverse environment
