National Parents Organization seeks a creative Social Media Content Creator to grow NPO’s visibility and increase engagement across key digital platforms. The role focuses on translating NPO’s in-depth research and educational work into clear, engaging content for social media. The content creator would be responsible for planning, creating, editing, and publishing content after leadership review and approval for our social media channels. The role is remote and on an independent contractor basis with a three year contract term with renewal options.
Responsibilities
- Edit and prepare content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
- Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas
- Maintain consistent posting schedules and brand voice
- Track performance metrics and adjust strategies based on insights and analytics to grow engagement and present this to leadership in regular reports
- Experiment with formats, posting schedules and boosting content to maximize reach and engagement.
- Manage the timely response to comments and direct messages

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in social media marketing or a degree in a related field
- Proficiency with social media platforms and publishing tools
- Strong understanding of and interest in social media trends and digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of shared parenting/family law reform or a willingness to learn in-depth about the issue is optional but highly preferred
- Experience building an online community is a plus
Compensation
$1,200-$1,500 per month based on experience and qualifications for 15-20 posts across 2-4 platforms with basic analytics and engagement. Competitive bonuses based on achievement of metrics to be decided jointly by contractor and leadership team.
