The Investment Office manages the endowment and pension plan assets of the UJA-Federation of New York. The assets are invested with external managers globally across a broad range of asset classes and strategies including public equity and credit, hedge funds, private equity and credit, and real assets.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Investment Operations and Accounting Analyst will be an integral member of the Investment Office, supporting the effective management and administration of the organization’s investment portfolios. The position is responsible for investment accounting, performance reporting, and operational processes that ensure the integrity of financial data and the accuracy of reporting. The Analyst collaborates with custodians, investment managers, investors, and internal stakeholders to maintain sound operational practices and enhance efficiency across systems and workflows. This role is well suited for an individual seeking to build a career in the operational, accounting, and analytical aspects of institutional investment management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have an understanding of the workings of an endowment investment office as well as an understanding of accounting and performance reporting principles. They should be a detail-oriented problem solver who is highly organized, manages time effectively, and approaches challenges with curiosity and initiative, and who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment. The candidate should be comfortable using and learning technology to streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting processes. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues, managers, and service providers are critical to success in this role.

SALARY RANGE:
$90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications listed above.

We offer a generous number of vacation days and have the Jewish holidays off as well. Fridays our offices close early (October to March at 3:00 pm and April to September at 4:00 pm). All so you can relax and recharge.
