    Description

    Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, the Development Manager will oversee New Leash on Life USA’s fundraising efforts with annual and mid-level donors. This role will be responsible for growing New Leash’s revenue from individual donors and engagement with corporate partners. They will contribute to New Leash’s year-over-year growth through increasing the number of donors as well as through aggregate fundraising goals.

    • Conduct annual giving activities (emails, match campaigns, third party fundraisers, etc.)
    • Engage corporate partners in employee engagement opportunities
    • Manage a portfolio of ~50 donors with a focus on leadership annual giving, dog sponsorship, and event asks, especially recapture and renewal asks
    • Staff Raise the Woof fundraising event and committee
    • Assist with grants under $5k as needed

    Part-time (20 hrs/wk)

    Salary range: $32k-38k

    Work-from-home based with regular local travel for donor and staff meetings. Flexible schedule with occasional evening and weekend hours for specific events.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
    • 3-5 years of experience in development/fundraising or related field
    • Commitment to excellence, professional development, superior customer service, and inclusive culture
