    Organization: Jiv Daya Foundation

Compensation: $25–$30 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Hours: 20–30 hours per week | Flexible schedule

    About the Foundation

The Jiv Daya Foundation and its sister organization, the Shraman Foundation, are U.S.-based nonprofit organizations dedicated to expanding opportunities in education, healthcare, and social impact. One of our key initiatives, the Student Incentive Program, provides semester-based financial incentives to support low-income students pursuing associate degrees at public community colleges in Texas.

    About the Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and mission-driven Program Coordinator to help expand our Student Incentive Program across additional community colleges in Texas and beyond.

This part-time, remote position is ideal for graduate students or recent graduates interested in education, public service, or nonprofit leadership. You’ll gain hands-on experience in program design, partnership development, and student outreach—directly contributing to increasing educational access for Texas students.

Although the role is remote, applicants must reside in Texas, with preference for those in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex area for occasional in-person meetings or events.

Masters students from universities such as UTA, UTD, Texas A&M, UNT, SMU, and other Texas institutions are strongly encouraged to apply.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research & Outreach: Identify and evaluate community colleges across Texas and other states that could benefit from the Shraman Student Incentive Program.
    • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain partnerships with college administrators, counselors, and student support offices.
    • Program Promotion: Coordinate with institutional partners to share program information and ensure eligible students are aware of opportunities.
    • Application Management: Collect, review, and organize student applications; verify data with academic institutions.
    • Selection Coordination: Assist in evaluating applications and shortlisting eligible students.
    • Program Monitoring: Maintain student and institutional databases; track semester progress and streamline renewals.
    • Reporting: Provide regular updates on outreach, application volume, and program expansion metrics.

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree (or currently enrolled in a graduate program) in Sciences, Public Health, Business, or a related field.
    • Experience in higher education, student affairs, nonprofit management, or community outreach preferred.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms) and comfort with data tracking tools.
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
    • Passion for educational equity and supporting students from underserved backgrounds.
