    Description

    To strengthen Bridge to Türkiye Fund’s visibility, marketing efforts, digital fundraising campaigns, including virtual events and other marketing efforts, by developing and executing compelling marketing, communications, and social media strategies. This role supports year-round, online giving campaigns, including messaging and communications strategies, newsletters, and email campaigns, while elevating the organization’s brand, storytelling, and events to inspire greater philanthropic support for children, youth, and communities in Türkiye. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Marketing Communications Plan and Strategies & Digital Campaigns

    • Plan, design, and execute an annual marketing communications plan with social media strategy and website copy and content
    • Develop strategies with the CEO/Executive Director and other development staff to support digital fundraising campaigns throughout the year, including Giving Tuesday, seasonal appeals, donor stewardship outreach, and special project campaigns.
    • Develop campaign timelines, messaging, visuals, and assets aligned with organization brand voice and goals.
    • Monitor and optimize campaign performance, including email analytics, engagement metrics, and giving platform results.

    Communications and Media

    • Produce high-quality written content for newsletters, social media, email marketing, and the website.
    • Manage and grow social media presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
    • Draft impact stories, beneficiary highlights, partner spotlights, and donor-centered narratives.
    • Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all content and platforms.
    • Pursue and explore media sources and forums to raise the organization’s profile
    • Seek earned media to feature executive and board and other donor stories, including organization stories, as well as speaking engagements across conferences
    • Support IT Director with SEO, website content updates, and online storytelling as needed.

    Events & Community Engagement

    • Assist in planning and promoting virtual and in-person fundraising events, Zoom Cafés, donor gatherings, and program briefings, including Galas and other similar events.
    • Create digital toolkits, event marketing materials, and promotional content to strengthen participation and visibility that can also be used by community volunteers and supporters.

    Design & Creative Support

    • Create graphics, short videos, reels, banners, and collateral for campaigns and social platforms (using Canva or similar tools).
    • Maintain visual brand coherence and elevate storytelling through compelling design.
    • Help with rebranding and logo designs and website layouts.

    Internal Coordination

    • Collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer to support communications strategy.
    • Help develop editorial calendars, campaign schedules, and content workflows.
    • Support donor stewardship communications and impact updates.

    Qualifications Required

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit marketing, digital communications, social media management, or fundraising campaigns.
    • Demonstrated success managing digital fundraising or Giving Tuesday–type campaigns.
    • Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
    • Experience with Canva, Mailchimp (or similar platforms), and social media scheduling tools.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple timelines, and deliver high-quality content consistently.
    • Commitment to Bridge to Türkiye Fund’s mission and values, with an interest in Türkiye, nonprofits, philanthropy, or international and social impact.
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications design, nonprofit or related field

    Preferred

    • Experience working with diaspora-led organizations or global nonprofit networks.
    • Familiarity with donor databases or CRM systems.
    • Graphic design, photography, or video editing skills.

    Level of Language Proficiency

    Fluency in English.
