    Description

The Program Manager is the connector that turns mission into motion.

You’ll sit at the center of our programs—keeping initiatives moving, surfacing obstacles early, and making sure decisions turn into action. If something stalls, you help unblock it. If a program is launching, you help organize it. If an idea is approved, you help make sure it actually happens.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build the operational backbone of a growing nonprofit and see their work directly translate into real-world impact.

    What You’ll Do

    • Help execute community fundraising events, including a Golf Tournament and 5K
    • Support logistics for microprogramming, school visits, and community programs
    • Own GRIT’s project management system (Trello) and keep it clear, current, and useful
    • Track progress between monthly leadership meetings and ensure follow-through
    • Surface blocked work and help leadership resolve issues quickly
    • Turn repeatable programs into templates so GRIT can serve more communities over time
    • Support content and partner coordination by keeping timelines and handoffs moving

    Who You Are

    • Organized, proactive, and comfortable owning systems
    • Confident following up with leaders and keeping work moving
    • Tech-savvy and experienced with project management tools
    • Motivated by mission and energized by execution
    • Excited to help build something that creates opportunity for others
