The Krueger Hat Trick Foundation

KHT provides hospital comfort kits to Heart Warriors and Heart Families who are in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit or Cardiac Intensive Care Unit recovering from heart surgery or awaiting a heart transplant. KHT provides financial support to families for uncovered medical bills from CHD related procedures and medications. KHT provides financial support to Heart Families who are unable to work due to a child in the hospital, which includes rent/mortgage, utilities, phone, etc. KHT financially supports the Beads of Courage cardiac flagship programs at Johns Hopkins Children's Center and University of Maryland Children's Hospital. KHT is a major donor in the funding of the reconstruction of the University of Maryland Children's Hospital Pediatric Waiting Room, as well as funding the University of Maryland Children's Heart Program Respite Center for families waiting during their child's heart surgery.
