Columbia Greenhouse Nursery School

  • About Us

Columbia Greenhouse Nursery School provides a nursery school experience to children between the ages of two and five. In partnership with families, we are committed to promoting healthy emotional, social, intellectual and physical development in young children. The educational philosophy of Greenhouse pivots on the pedagogic belief that young children learn best through interaction and engagement with challenging materials, with peers in small groups amd with responsive and loving adults. Along these lines, we have carefully planned a warm and nurturing play-centered environment that encourages creativity, exploration, problem solving, independence, positive peer interactions and a sense of community.
