In 2016, we launched an updated a curriculum that teaches skills and competencies needed to access work through the technology-enabled gig economy (e.g., child care work through Care.com; home repair jobs through TaskRabbit). Samaschool works in San Francisco and New York City, and is part of a larger organization, Samasource, a social enterprise that trains and employs people in digital work internationally.
