CAGJ is a grassroots organization with hundreds of members throughout the Puget Sound area who are committed to working for a more just economy both locally and globally. Members work on issues of promoting fair trade policy, support local economies, undoing institutional racism, and supporting immigrant rights. What We Do: **Community Education - We provide workshops and presentations about corporate globalization, trade agreements and positive economic alternatives, and we have a lending library of books and videos on these issues. **Grassroots Organizing - We build solidarity with allied organizations, mobilize locally through citizen outreach and train new leaders for social change. **Research - We research the impacts of trade agreements on people in Washington State and promote equitable and sustainable alternatives. **Media Outreach - We voice Fair Trade perspectives in the media by providing thoughtful analysis to journalists and by writing op/eds and rapid response letters-to-the-editor. **Legislative Action - We educate voters, draft Fair Trade resolutions and meet with candidates and elected officials to advocate for Fair Trade policies.
