    About Us

Have you recently arrived in the Bay Area? Our team is at your service to welcome you and address any questions you may have.

Are you already living in the Bay Area? SFBA provides an opportunity for you to reconnect with the Francophone community, enjoy shared activities and events, and participate in welcoming newcomers.

SFBA is a non-profit, non-subsidized association. Managed and operated by volunteers, SFBA's mission is to welcome French and Francophone individuals to the San Francisco Bay Area, assisting them in:

    • Adapting to a different way of life and a foreign language,
    • Resolving practical everyday issues,
    • Meeting fellow countrymen as well as locals,
    • Enjoying the richness of another culture while maintaining their identity, offering them upon arrival: welcome, contacts, and activities.
