About Us

Students at the Museum Magnet School for Inquiry, Innovation & Imagination have the unique experience of attending an innovative museum-like school in which students see themselves as historians, scientists & artists engaged in inquiry-based investigations that tap into their passions and imaginations.

Through our Magnet initiative, middle school students use MacBooks and iPads to engage in collabrative, inquiry-based research and multi-media projects. Upper elementary students have use of netbooks for innovative multidisciplinary projects. Upper elementary students have use of netbooks for innovative multidisciplinary investigations as wll as for ELA and math enrichment. Teachers use technology such as SmartBoards and ELMO projection systems for inteactive demonstrations that enhance student engagement. And through the use of large video screens housed in public-areas of the school, school-based content is streamed to larger audiences within our school community. Additionally, our Museum Magnet School Specialist and Technology Specialist assist teachers and students with using technology to bring their ideas and projects to life.
