  • Mission

The Atlantic City Rescue Mission is set apart by the Spirit of God to preach the Gospel and meet the physical, emotional and other basic needs (through the provision of shelter, clothing, food, counseling, referral and structured programs) of the poor and those who are bound and bruised by addictive lifestyles in Atlantic City and the surrounding communities.

    About Us

The Atlantic City Rescue Mission (ACRM) was founded in 1964 by John Fink and provided hot food and shelter to a few homeless men from a small storefront in Atlantic City. Since that time, the Mission has added or expanded programs over the years in response to the growing and changing needs of the people we serve.

The Mission provides meals and shelter, but the goal is to guide people to a productive life through practical programs and eternal life through Jesus Christ.

The Mission is the largest provider of services for the homeless in southern New Jersey with 320 shelter beds. While a deep commitment to God sets us apart in how we provide services, we do not discriminate on the basis of race, age, religion, sex, handicap, or national origin.
