About Us
Lost Dogs Florida is an all-volunteer group dedicated to reuniting lost dogs with their families. Our services are provided free to pet owners, shelters, rescues, and animal control professionals. We are here to make a difference, not a profit. We don't believe anyone should ever have to pay to get their pet back.
Our mission:
- Provide ideas and resources to help owners locate their lost pets
- Offer finders of lost pets effective methods to reunite these pets with their owners
- Reduce the number of "strays" in shelters, decreasing euthanasia rates
- Increase awareness that a lost pet doesn't need a new home, they just need help getting back home!
- We recognize the need to get every lost/found pet into ONE central database to get more pets home, quickly!
