Create, plan and execute educational, mental and physical health as well as entrepreneurship programs, focused on holistic development of communities in Ecuador while creating life changing experiences for international collaborators on projects.

The Awaken Foundation is a grassroots NGO based in Quito, Ecuador, working to uplift communities across the Amazon and coastal regions over the past nine years. We aim to empower underserved communities through sustainable development and self-sufficiency, with a strong focus on health, education, and community bioeconomics. These pillars reflect how Awaken connects vital resources—including volunteers, professionals, funding, and expertise—to communities, amplifying local efforts and empowering them to build sustainable, thriving futures.

Despite our significant impact, we continue to operate with limited resources. Our organization has no paid staff—every initiative is led by our passionate founder and CEO, supported by dedicated local professionals and international supporters.
