  • Mission

Actions for Solidarity International- USA (ASI-USA) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) created for the sole purpose of raising funds to enable our partner organization, Actions for Solidarity International in the Republic of the Congo (ASI-Congo), to launch a new, comprehensive care program for girls aged 8 to 12 victims of gender-based sexual violence and exploitation -GBV.

    About Us

ASI-USA was created in 2018 to raise funds within the USA for a program for 13-18 years-old girls in sexual exploitation, offering them a new life including professional training.

In 2021, a sudden crisis of sexual exploitation of these very young girls was traced to two oil crisis, the global recession and the pandemic.

The new program for girls aged 8 to 12 gives medical care, psychological support, shelter, reschooling, and follow-up of legal procedures.

For their best reintegration, the fundamental ASI policy is that whenever it’s possible, the girls should live into their natural, extended or foster family.

Because girls' profiles vary widely, the multifaceted support program is individually designed and adapted.

ASI-Congo is partnering with local and international NGOs, the Ministry and District directions of Health, Social Affairs, Justice and Child Protection, UN agencies like UNICEF, companies, and foundations.
