World Leadership Foundation

  • About Us

    Mission

World Leadership Foundation (WLF) is the non-profit arm of World Leadership School (www.worldleadershipschool.com). WLF’s mission is to unleash the potential of global communities through technology, learning and collaboration.

    Strategy

WLF handles roughly $100,000 per year in student donations raised by students traveling on World Leadership School Collaborative Leadership Programs. These funds are invested in Collaborative Projects for building classrooms, dining halls and other critical infrastructure at a network of long-term partner schools across Africa, Asia and Latin America during Collaborative Leadership Programs.

In 2011, WLF launched a pilot Mobile Tablet Lab, which allows rural schools without electricity or Internet to access technology on their own terms. WLF will finish the pilot of the Mobile Tablet Lab at La Lucha, a rural school in Costa Rica, in December 2014. We are currently in the midst of preparing a report summarizing the data behind the lab, launching a new website, and seeking grant funding to scale this innovation.

The core values of World Leadership Foundation are:

    1. Embracing Cultural Differences
    2. Cultivating Leadership
    3. Building Trusting Relationships
    4. Finding High-Leverage Solutions
    5. Acting With Passion and Purpose
