  • About Us

Dignity 2012 is a diverse coalition of doctors, nurses, social workers, patient and civil rights activists campaigning for the passage of the Death with Dignity Act, which will appear on the ballot before Massachusetts voters this November. Modeled after current laws in Oregon and Washington, the Massachusetts initiative will give terminally ill patients with less than six months left to live, the right to request and self-administer a prescription for life-ending medication. Recent public polling is showing 60% of voters favor the law.
