  • Mission

The mission of the Boston Congress of Public Health is to democratize public health.

    About Us

Transcending the traditional boundaries of academia and medicine, BCPH will support the next generation of public health thought leaders committed to social justice and democratize access to evidence-based public health through:

    - Knowledge Translation - building and promoting translational knowledge through multiple platforms including blogs, vlogs, podcasts, TV series, and academic journals among others.

    - Policy/Advocacy - devising a forum for policy/recommendation/guideline creation and dissemination,

    - Education - developing intersectional social justice tools and highlighting underrepresented voices vis-a-vis fellowships and technical training

The Boston Congress of Public Health is the non-profit that publishes The HPHR Journal, formerly known as the Harvard Public Health Review (HPHR). The HPHR Journal is an academic journal established in 2014 with a mission to improve health at the local, national, and international levels.
