    Middle Matters is a collaborative Transtion to Teaching project of James Madison University and local schools that provides an accelerated, alternative licensure route for persons working in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related fields. Partner school districts will hire career-switchers interested in teaching mathematics/science (especially in middle schools) while JMU assists those teachers in becoming fully-licensed teachers.
