Into the Outside, Inc.

Into the Outside (ITO) collaborates with teachers in isolated and low-income area schools throughout New York City to develop curricula that integrate underused community and cultural resources into the standard classroom experience.

These curricula provide all students with equal access to diverse learning opportunities that improve academic achievement, increase motivation to learn, and ultimately help them define what they can and want to be in their communities and in their lives.
