    Mission

    Family Start Learning Centers (hereafter “FAST”), in collaboration with the City of Chicago Department of Children and Family Support Services, is committed to developing the literacy and lifelong learning skills of Head Start and Child Care parents, children, and families in order to promote children’s success in school and parents’ success in achieving economic self-sufficiency.

    In the spirit of community and in order to create a learning environment where students, teachers, and staff feel safe and respected, everyone involved must help each other to reach this goal. We ask that you follow the policies below in order to create a safe place where people feel comfortable to learn and pursue their goals.
