  • Mission

Our mission is to build community, acceptance, and culture through soccer. Lavender League offers safe spaces to move, build, and socialize. We are a queer soccer league, centering queer women, non-binary and trans players. We embrace diversity and body-positivity.

    About Us

Lavender League is a queer soccer league for people of all abilities, genders, races, shapes, and sizes. We are based in Portland, Oregon.

We have 12 teams playing one 7 vs 7 game each Sunday during each 8-week season (Spring, Summer, & Fall). Players can sign up to be on a team utilizing our tiered pricing system so that financial accessibility is not a barrier to anyone. We encourage BIPOC members to select the free registration option. Players can also sign up for no cost to be a substitute and jump in to play with whatever team is in need of more players that week. There is no skill requirement to join - experience ranges from brand new to the sport, to haven't played in years! Our league referees are the only paid positions, otherwise we run on the volunteer power of our community, and leadership board. We are supported through local grants, donors, and event fundraising efforts.
