    AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the largest free, volunteer-based tax assistance and preparation program in the U.S. Tax-Aide provides tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income. You don't need to be an AARP member to use the service.

    About Us

    All levels and types of experience are welcome. Volunteers come from a variety of industries, with experiences ranging from retirees to college students. Tax-Aide volunteers are IRS-certified every year, so they understand the latest changes and additions to the tax code

    For Nevada in 2025 for 2024 income taxes, 1.1 million taxpayers in the United States used the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide for their tax preparation needs. Nevada alone helped more than 10,000 taxpayers with 234 volunteers at 27 sites.
