Mission -- Hospitality The Little Sisters of the Poor are religious women driven by their mission of “hospitality” to the elderly poor. The Little Sisters are committed to providing the highest level of care and quality of life regardless of race, creed, sex or nationality. The Little Sisters offer a loving Home with a family atmosphere, in an environment of compassion, love and respect. With the support of a dedicated staff and volunteers, the Little Sisters strive to meet the physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs of residents to help them maintain a sense of dignity throughout their lives.
The Little Sisters offer a continuum of services, providing the residents the security that no matter what happens, their needs will be met until the end of their lives. Even when the time of death approaches, the Little Sisters consider it a privilege to accompany each resident on this final journey, surrounding him or her with thoughtful attention and spiritual support. The Little Sisters also aim to develop in the community an attitude of reverence and respect for the frail aged.
