Child Care Aware, Parent Network (CCAPN) is a new free membership organization specifically for parents and those who care about and for children. CCAPN is a membership organization within the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies.

Isn’t it time for all families to have access to affordable child care that is safe, nurturing, and promotes early learning?

1. All child care programs throughout the country are licensed according to federal and state standards: T/F

Parents shouldn’t have to compromise the safety and quality of their child care. Children shouldn’t be denied the positive experiences in their critical early years when learning is so rapid because of lack of quality child care. Parents, grandparents, providers, and people who care about children should insist that all children in the United States have access to world-class child care. In order to make a statement to policy makers and effect cultural and political change, parents, grandparents, providers, and everyone who cares for and about children need to raise their hands to be counted for child care!
