Project C.U.R.E. delivers health and hope to people in need around the world by collecting, sorting, and shipping donated medical supplies and equipment to under-resourced hospitals and clinics in developing countries.
Founded in 1987 in Colorado, Project C.U.R.E. has grown into the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies and equipment to developing countries, serving patients, families, and children in more than 130 nations. Our large distribution warehouses—called C.U.R.E. Communities—are located in cities like Denver, Phoenix, Nashville, Houston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Kansas City. From these hubs, volunteers help inspect, sort, and pack donated medical items that are loaded into 40-foot cargo containers and shipped to partner hospitals and clinics that otherwise go without basic tools for care.
In Kansas City, our warehouse volunteers are essential to everything we do and help keep our momentum going and the critical shipments of medical supplies and equipment overseas. We also invest in future leaders through our Young Professionals Board, which offers a variety of leadership, service, and nonprofit governance development for the 20-30's of greater KC!
Whether you're packing boxes, sorting through donations, or recruiting friends to join us - your time and dedication directly translate into lifesaving care and brighter futures for communities around the world.
