Building on the Antioch University MBA and the experience of the New England campus (AUNE), AUSB’s MBA program will provide the leadership and staff of businesses and non-profit organizations, as well as those interested in the field, with the appropriate training to effectively attend to the “business-side” of non-profits, social businesses, and other areas pertaining to strategic leadership. The curriculum will provide students with graduate training to effectively “make a difference,” an often stated reason for students attending AUSB.
The program design will include “core” or foundational courses typically associated with an MBA (i.e., management & leadership, human resources, marketing & public relations, finance & accounting, organizational development) and courses specific to social enterprise business models, non-profit organizations, and other strategic leadership contexts (i.e., entrepreneurship, fund-raising for non-profits, non-profit management & law, volunteer management, board relationships, business & marketing plans for non-profits.)
