    The NAACP's principal objective is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of minority group citizens of United States and eliminate race prejudice. The NAACP seeks to remove all barriers of racial discrimination through the democratic processes.

    About Us

    The Lee County, Florida NAACP has a long history of addressing widespread inequality in our county. Our chapter was founded in 1938 and we have worked since then to ensure justice in our schools, our police department, and our government agencies. We help people who are facing discrimination in employment, banking and housing. We strive to make sure that all Americans are treated equally.
