    Food $ense CHANGE (Cultivating Health And Nutrition through Gardening Education) teaches nutrition through gardening and cooking to limited-income populations using the CHANGE curriculum. The Food $ense School Educator is primarily responsible for teaching a series of 10 nutrition classes in elementary schools in South King County (see website below for more program information and school locations). At least 50% of the children in these schools qualify for free or reduced lunch. In addition to teaching up to 12 classes per week during assigned weeks from mid-September to June, educators are also required to attend staff meetings and trainings throughout the school year.
