About Us

The Mid Alameda County Consortium is made of a twelve adult schools within the region. MACC is led by Official Representatives which set goals per state policies and guidelines. To create and implement plans to achieve the goals, MACC relies on four faculty and staff various Work Teams. At each MACC school, Transition Specialists work with students to help them set their personal goals and to create a plan to reach those goals, including referring students to local supportive service agencies for personal assistance that will make it possible for students to attend and complete their educational plans.

MACC works closely with partner agencies such as the Alameda County Workforce Development Board, the Eden Area and Tri-Valley One Stop Career Centers, the Pleasanton and Alameda County Libraries, and many others, in order to provide comprehensive services to students.

MACC offers opportunities for adults to train for employment, to earn a high school diploma or certification, and to learn English. MACC schools help students plan for success. We connect students to the right classes, programs and services to help them meet their goals.

The mission of the Mid Alameda County Consortium is to collaboratively and collectively increase regional effectiveness in providing education, training and support services for adult learners, thereby strengthening our communities.
