  • Mission

    The mission of the Veterans Accession House is an organization providing Service Intensive Transitional Housing to Homeless and At-Risk Veterans of all ages in a safe and drug free living environment. To aid them to resolve barriers to housing and employment in preparation for independent living. To work with the Department of Veterans and other housing service providers to ensure each program participant has access to earned entitlements, e.g., healthcare, public services, benefits, and legal aid through case management designed to assist them in their transition toward permanent housing.

    About Us

    The Veterans Accession House in a Non-profit, 501 (c) (3) established in 2016 to provider housing and support services for Veterans. VAH is officed in the City of Concord California and operates temporary housing in East Contra Costa County. With funding through of the Department of Veterans Affairs, we have successfully served over 200 veterans to attain benefits, services, and permanent housing. VAH currently operates under the VA's Legal Services for Veteran for Homeless and At-Risk Veterans in Contra Costa County. Our goals are to establish temporary housing in the City of Concord, and permanent low-income housing in the City of Bay Point, CA.
