NOTES FOR GROWTH INC

We collect donated, underutilized musical instruments, like pianos, and transport them to deserving institutions that teach music for free to children, primarily in Latin America (currently Chile). In just a few years, Notes for Growth has placed over 30 pianos - all donated in the New York area- in music academies and conservatories. Our core beliefs are:

1. Music should be an integral part of children’s education.

2. Learning to play a musical instrument helps improve children’s cognitive development, as research has demonstrated.

3. All children should have access to music education and musical instruments, regardless of their present circumstances.

4. We can optimize allocation of resources by transporting underutilized instruments to institutions that teach music for free to children in underserved communities.

5. Through our work, children are empowered and grow stronger, one note at a time.
