    MENTORING WORKS!! WE NEED YOU!

    We are in need of committed and supportive mentors for youth, ages 12-18. Depending on the youth, mentors typically introduce their youth to cultural and other community events, help develop life skills including money management, provide direction with education and career goals, Encourage a drug & Alcohol free lifestyle and generally provide a listening ear for a young person.

    The 4C Coalition Mentor Program is a community based mentoring program with over a decade of experience recruiting and training mentors & connecting them with youth at risk. We can reclaim our youth, our neighborhoods, and our city. One person can make a huge difference.

    There are New mentor trainings scheduled every month for all who are interested in becoming a mentor.

    HOW DO YOUTH BENEFIT ?

    Youth benefit from a Nurturing supportive adult relationship

    mentors provide guidance to youth in achieving goals

    Mentors access community resources for youth

    Youth are introduced to positive community events & activities

    Options and opportunities are enhanced

    MENTOR REQUIREMENTS:

    ** Complete NEW Mentor training**

    Must be 21 years or older

    Consent to a WA State Background check

    Complete Application & References

    Mentors make a one-year commitment to youth

    Mentors keep weekly contact with youth

    Mentors Meet face to face with youth bi-weekly
