The Muindi Foundation is dedicated to helping reshape the future of underserved youth through education, mentorship, and community support. Founded by Serena and Tim Muindi-whose own lives were transformed by educational opportunity-the foundation exists to offer that same life-changing support to children who need it most.
Our flagship LearnNow programs focus on tutoring, literacy, mathematics, and educational enrichment for children in grades 1-8, many of whom are behind in school or are English language learners. We offer afterschool homework clubs, seasonal academic camps, and a six-week academic summer camp all designed to help children achieve grade-level proficiency and build the skills and confidence to thrive academically and personally.
Through our LifeLift Up initiatives, we also address the broader needs of the unhoused by providing food, hygiene kits, winter clothing, and emergency essentials. We believe that meeting a child’s basic needs is vital to their success in the classroom.
Volunteers are at the heart of this mission-whether tutoring students, assembling care packages, or supporting our community events, they help create an environment where every child is seen, supported, and inspired to succeed.
We invite you to join us in uplifting young lives through the power of education, consistency, and compassion.
