On Earth Peace

On Earth Peace is a national peacemaking nonprofit rooted in the Church of the Brethren, founded in 1974. Our mission is to answer Jesus Christ’s call for peace and justice through our ministries; building thriving families, congregations, and communities; and providing the skills, support and spiritual foundation to face violence with active nonviolence. The 3000 Miles for Peace campaign is a fundraising and awareness-raising campaign of On Earth Peace. It is a national campaign of riders and walkers gathering funds and support for On Earth Peace, in honor of a young peacemaker, Paul Ziegler. Riding and walking events are happening all over the country from now through late September with the goal of raising $300,000 for the violence-prevention programs of On Earth Peace.
