First Presbyterian Church

Located in the heart of Greenwich, CT, the First Presbyterian Church is a thriving cogregation whose vision is to be a nurturing Christian community following the call of Jesus to love God above all and our neighbors as ourselves.

Our mission is to extend the grace of family to all who desire a Spirit-filled Christian community; to help raise the children in our church community to become joyful disciples of Jesus Christ; and to provide our community of faith with the knowledge, skills and opportunities to serve our neighbors, at home and around the world.

All ages find their spiritual home at FPCG. For adults we offer Bible studies, and engaging classes and lectures through our Academy presentations. Our thriving nursery school means we are a congregation with many young families and an expansive children's program. We offer Sunday school starting at 3 years old and continuing through 8th grad Confirmation class. In addtion we have year-round events and activities for children and youth designed to promote fellowship and deepend the faith of our youngest members.

Our annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner and Day of Faithful Service provide community-wide opportunities for volunteering with over 200 of our members participating. In addition we offer monthly volunteeer opportunities for cooking and serving dinner at a men's homeless shelter or tutoring children in afterschool programs.

We are a community of faith seeking to address the spiritual needs of all who desire to worship with usand to extend support to others beyond our doors in the community and around the world.
