  • About Us

Each One Save One is a non-profit organization dedicated to reversing the plight of children in our community. Amidst the devastation of violence, drugs, and teen pregnancy in our community today, the future appears grim unless we, as individuals and corporations, act to effect positive changes and offer concrete alternatives to area children.

Our mentors are caring adults from the community, who are willing to give up one hour a week to go to a local school and work one-on-one with young people. They are placed with students for the entire school year, in order to create long-term bonds that, in some cases, last a lifetime.

Our mantra is simple: The Power Of One One mentor, one child, one-hour a week. Becoming a mentor is one of the most rewarding things you can do. Mentors go to the child’s school for mentoring activities. These school-based activities include tutoring, conflict resolution, career exploration, and research.

We have 107 mentors in 20 schools throughout the metro area and are we are actively recruiting more mentors each day!

If you are interested in working with Each One Save One as a mentor OR contributing your talents in another way, please feel free to contact us at info@eachonesaveone.org or at 504-896-9979.
