TWIN HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER

THWC (an STD Clinic) is a 501c(3) organization founded in 2020 in Hillsboro TX that provides access to high-quality wellness services for underserved populations. We're a small clinic with a big heart and are passionate about the care we provide to our patients. We have a small staff and are in need of volunteers like you to work in our clinic and provide virtual services during the week, on some evening and weekends.

Our goal is to decrease the rates of HIV in our African American, Latino and LGTB communities. According to the 2020 Census, Hillsboro, a city in the county seat of Hill County, TX, had a population of 8,221. Among this population, services for sexual health care and treatment are very sparse. THWC is approximately 40-50 miles South of Dallas and 20-30-mile South of Waco, which can present a challenge for a population located in a rural area with limited resources and access to care. Although our services are accessible to all community members in-need, we target our outreach to populations who frequently have less access to sexual health resources and are at high risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections, particularly HIV.

We are seeking VOLUNTEERS like YOU to assist us in providing care and treatment to individual living in these area.
