    Established in 1915 by Chinese American farm laborers, Locke, CA is the last surviving rural Chinese community in America. The Locke Foundation operates the Boarding House Museum, organizes annual cultural events highlighting Asian Pacific Islander festivals, and provides tours and interpretive services of the National Historical Site.
