The Children's Course | First Tee - Greater Portland

  • Mission

Our mission at The Children's Course and First Tee - Greater Portland is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character and instill life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

    About Us

The Children's Course was founded in 1996 and became home to First Tee in 2000. First Tee - Greater Portland is the Oregon chapter of First Tee, an international non-profit youth development organization, with more than 150 chapters across the U.S. and internationally. We deliver golf programs for youth ages 5-18 at The Children's Course and other golf facilities across Portland metro and Eugene. Programs include: 8-week age-based classes, camps, clinics, tournaments, a Girls Golf program, a caddie program, mentor programs, and special events. We provide financial aid and starter golf equipment support for eligible families in need for anyone in need. Our programs hope to break down barriers to the game of golf and ultimately help empower youth to become the best version of themselves.
