BCFS HHS HTI Common Thread

  • Mission

The mission of BCFS Health and Human Services' Common Thread program is to empower survivors of human trafficking to find hope, connectedness, and serenity. Through advocacy, care coordination, and support, Common Thread builds collaboration, connection, and trusting relationships in communities to achieve long-term healing and success for survivors of sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, and youth who are at risk.

    About Us

Common Thread operates as a relational advocacy and case management program, comprising highly trained advocates, social workers, and survivors. The program provides long-term support to survivors of trafficking, operating with the understanding that long-term, dependable, positive adult relationships are key to recovery.

Services are available 24/7, with advocates able to respond within 90 minutes in moments of crisis. Common Thread serves children and youth up to age 24 in Texas
