Phillips Wharf Environmental Center

  • Mission

The Phillips Wharf Environmental Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that focuses on environmental education. Our mission is to encourage, educate, and engage Chesapeake Bay stewards of all ages through interactive experiences showcasing the Bay’s ecosystem and its inhabitants. Our vision is a healthy Chesapeake Bay with clean water, thriving fisheries, and access for all.

    About Us

Phillips Wharf works to connect people to the Chesapeake Bay through our traveling marine science program (the Fishmobile), in addition to our oyster restoration program (Tilghman Islanders Grow Oysters), and adult education programs. Our goal is to support educated and passionate people to care about and protect the Bay.
