  • Mission

The GSCA provides graduate students of color at Temple University with a support network and a safe space for discussion of everyday issues that impact academic, professional, and social development.

    About Us

The GSCA is a safe haven for graduate students of color at Temple University who seek community and connection. Through monthly meetings and regular outings to arts, culture, and food destinations in Philadelphia, we encourage self-care, mutual support, and inclusivity above all else. Any environment in which GSCA members come together is one in which everyone is respected and understood by others with similar experiences. In acknowledgement of intersecting identities such as gender, sexuality, class and ability, the GSCA forges interracial and intraracial solidarity across departments, schools, and campuses.
