    About Us

    .The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women. We offer eight programs that bridge gaps in education, health care, child care and earning power. These programs include a Child Care Center, School-Age Program (After-School and Summer Camp), FutureVision (drop-out prevention for middle and high schoolers), MotherLove (mentoring for teen moms), New Choices (support for displaced homemakers), Preventive Health/Diabetes Wellness, Aquatics and Club W: Health & Fitness Center. The YWCA has been in Asheville since 1906. We serve approximately 6,000 people a year.
