  • About Us

The Stamford Land Conservation Trust acquires and protects undeveloped land in Stamford, Connecticut. We own and steward over 50 parcels that total over 430 acres. Some of our preserves offer the public recreation through hiking and horseback trails, and all are managed for the benefit of wildlife, the environment and the public at large.

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities including field work and event organizing as well as "indoor" type activities such as producing our newsletters and the administrative tasks associated with running a 501 (c) (3) charity.
